I thought this was about the Philly Phanatic

My Son the Fanatic is a pleasant, slightly dull
movie about
Parez, a Pakistani cab driver in northern England who's spent most of
his
life trying to assimilate, only to see his college-age son suddenly
become
an Islamic fundamentalist and reject everything his father has worked
so
hard to achieve. Finding himself an outsider in his own home, Parez
turns
to Bettina, a hooker he's befriended, for comfort.
It's well-written, funny and touching, but not very gripping.
Om Puri
and Rachel Griffiths, as Parez and Bettina, are both quite good, though
their accents can be a little hard to decipher. Overall, it was worth
the
$3 I paid, but probably not a whole lot more.
